Episode 0049: Quick Year Recap, Five Predictions for the NHL, Most Costly Injuries, Quick Expansion Update, Barry Trotz, Boston’s Top Line and Add One!

Hello listeners and welcome to another edition of the Two Man Forecheck.  The Forecheckers start out this episode with a quick recap of the year from the playoffs through the draft and the expansion Golden Knights success.  From here we continue on to our 5 predictions for the remainder of the season up to free agency and the draft (although none of our predictions carry out that far).  We discuss the most costly injuries, or more precisely, which injury is most costly to their respective team.  Is it Mark Scheifele or Corey Crawford?  Do you have an opinion on this?  If so, please share, we would love to hear other possibilities that we may not have considered.  Mike gives his opinion on Seattle as we discuss a quick expansion update and Barry Trotz has moved into fifth all time for coaching wins, passing Lindsay Ruff.  Congratulations to you, Barry!  Also, we wish a speedy recovery to Chris Kreider.  We briefly touch on the goaltending woes of the Ottawa Senators before moving onto our favorite segment…Add One!  Finally we hash out how important it may be that the top line for the Boston Bruins has not been performing.  Chris isn’t as concerned as Mike is, but please give us your opinion on this.  And as always, if you have any ideas for topics or questions for us to discuss, please drop us a comment here or an email at ThoseTwo@TwoManForecheck.com.  Enjoy the hockey and have a Very Happy and Successful New Year!
